Coffee House / Open Mic Night

posted Nov 18, 2010, 6:49 PM by Christopher Fitz

November 27
7:00 PM in the Upper Room
Come join us for our Thanksgiving weekend open mic / coffee house evening. Performers from all around the region are invited to come and share their talents. It's always a lot of fun to participate or just to come and enjoy the sounds and the company.

Admission is free, but we encourage everyone who is able, to bring a canned good for the Greenwich Food Pantry.
Coffee and tasty treats are available for sale, and yes, there will be pie.

Musicians of any age or skill level are invited. We have a rockin' sound system and a whole lot of microphones, so you won't need to bring much more than your axe, or accordion, penny whistle or musical saw. Whatever you play, this is always a very receptive audience.

The Upper Room is now handicap accessible. We just recently installed a lift chair.

Nothing to it. In the summer, if you leave your car windows down, it will certainly rain. In the winter, if you plan a snowshoe event, the snow will have disappeared. So let's pray for a little bit of snow for February 21st, so we can have us a snowshoe up the mountain at Stewart and Carol Skiff's place.
